How can art influence the cognitive and emotional functioning of older people?
What are the benefits of intergenerational artistic approaches to mental health?
What good practices are currently being implemented in Greece and Europe?
These questions will be the focus of the final event of the Creative Care project, organized by ARTIT, on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the WHEN hub, (29 Sokratous Street, 105 52 Athens).
The event program includes:
- Presentation of the Creative Care project and its main objectives
- Thematic discussion with experts from the fields of art, social sciences, and elder care.
Thematic sections:
- The role of art in the cognitive, emotional, and social empowerment of the elderly
- The mental health benefits of intergenerational and artistic approaches to care
- Good practices and examples in Greece and the European Union
Participation in the event is free of charge and certificates of attendance will be provided.
