An Erasmus+ initiative that aims to address the fight against climate change through a digital approach that will help create a bridge between generations.

Seniors (60+), who are expected to represent almost a third of the EU population by 2050, are often blamed for not being sufficiently engaged in the fight against climate change. Contrary to the youth, for whom environmental aspirations sometimes come as second nature, seniors are often said to be more reluctant to change their behaviour patterns in order to cut down their carbon footprint and contribute, at their level, to the preservation of resources. Nevertheless, given the fatal and urgent nature of climate change, seniors should be empowered to contribute positively to combat this challenge. In fact, the project partners consider that the older generations, as a living link to the past, possess invaluable knowledge and experience in sustainability, for example in the fields of repairing, reusing and repurposing. These three R’s are declared to be crucial for building up the world, fulfilling the needs of current generations without compromising the needs of future ones.
