Social Impact Manager
An Erasmus+ initiative that enhances the integration of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in business strategies.
Operated by: KMOP Education & Innovation Hub

CHALLENGE

The SIM project proposes a complementary and innovative approach to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
The Social Impact Manager (SIM) initiative addresses the critical challenge of insufficient integration of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in business strategies. Despite a growing global consensus on the importance of CSR, with 87% of consumers expecting companies to operate sustainably, only 38% of businesses have established comprehensive CSR plans. This gap underscores a pressing need for a paradigm shift in how companies approach their social and environmental responsibilities. The SIM project aims to create a new managerial role that effectively integrates CSR into business models, ensuring companies contribute positively to societal and environmental well-being, in line with increasing stakeholder expectations.
